Reviews
"In this inventive bedtime countdown, ten different insects--portrayed in sleepwear but with distinctive physical features, and even identified on endpapers--drop off one by one around or inside a hollow tree. . . Still-wakeful young listeners, if there are any, will be more than willing to take a repeat ride." -
Kirkus Reviews "[T]he rhythms and lulling rhymes are infectious. It's Saaf's winsome, mixed-media artwork that will draw children most. . . An imaginative, richly colored counting exercise for little ones still working on one through 10." -

School Library Journal "[A] fun, rhyming tale of lovable bugs who, one by one, drop off to sleep in lushly painted, comical scenes. Your little one's bound to be sleepyhead number eleven."-

Ten Little Sleepyheads will have your children bringing this book to you again and again." -
