Dorothy Hinshaw Patent

Dorothy Hinshaw Patent has written more than 100 books for young readers, including Walker & Company's Fabulous Fluttering Tropical Butterflies; Flashy Fantastic Rain Forest Frogs; and Bold & Bright, Black-and-White Animals. Her book Slinky Scaly Slithery Snakes was named a CBC-NSTA Outstanding Science Trade Book for Children. Dorothy lives with her husband in Missoula, Montana.
